Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated version of the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 in the Indian market. This version of the motorcycle has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom). It comes as a part of the brand's strategy to refresh the product lineup with the latest electronic features and changes in aesthetics.
The motorcycle is powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 10 hp of power at 7500 rpm and achieves a maximum torque of 10.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. It offers a manufacturer-claimed fuel efficiency of 72 kilometers per liter, made possible by a combination of programmed fuel injection and an idle stop-start mechanism.
The powertrain also includes an integrated starter generator called Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) which aids in quiet engine startups along with Advanced Programmed Fuel Injection (APFI) and the company's i3S (Idle Stop-Start System), and smooth restarts when idling in heavy traffic.
