Hero MotoCorp has launched the Glamour X125 in the Indian market in two variants. The X125 is a sporty and feature-loaded take on the Glamour, which is largely a commuter motorcycle. India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer has offered multiple segment-first features in the Glamour X125. Here are the differences between the two:
Price:
Hero Glamour X125 starts at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom). The top-end variant is priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom).
Brakes:
The primary difference between the two variants is the use of front brakes. The base variant employs drum brakes at both ends, whereas the top-end variant has a disc upfront. Single-channel ABS is given a miss.

Cruise Control:
Glamour X125 became the first 125-cc motorcycle to offer cruise control. The cruise control can be deployed between the speeds of 30 kmph and 80 kmph in third to fifth gears. The cruise control switch is placed on the right-hand side of the handlebars. The base variant misses out on the cruise control function.
Light set up:
Hero MotoCorp has offered LED front headlamps with character H-shaped DRL as standard. The rear section has a significant difference. The base variant misses out on LED indicators and LED taillights.
Hero MotoCorp has also offered a segment-first panic brake alert function in the Glamour X125. The feature essentially alerts the trailing traffic by blinking the rear indicators. The feature misses out on the base variant.
The Glamour X125 shares its engine with the Xtreme 125R. At the heart of the matter is a 124.7-cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 11.5 hp and 10.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Hero Glamour X125 comes with several topline features like colour display, ride-by-wire, ride modes, and electronic throttle body, which are common in both variants.
