Harley-Davidson has announced revised prices of its motorcycle lineup in the Indian market. The revision comes after the changes in the GST rates announced by the government. It is worth mentioning that all the models of the brand are in the above 350 cc category. Hence, they fall in an increased tax slab of 40 per cent, resulting in a price hike. However, the X440 continues to be at the same price because the brand is absorbing the difference.
Price increases vary significantly across Harley-Davidson's India range, with the flagship touring models seeing the biggest hikes. The Road Glide, for instance, now costs Rs 3.45 lakh more. Other popular models in the Sport and Cruiser families have also become considerably more expensive under the revised tax structure.
