EXCON 2025: Mahindra Showcases Compax Mini Compactor With Dual Frequency Vibration Modes

Mahindra unveils COMPAX Mini Compactor and advanced CEV-V machines at EXCON, boasting road construction efficiency.

Mahindra's Construction Equipment business (MCE) today at the CII-organized EXCON Exhibition, at BIEC, Bengaluru, unveiled its new Mahindra COMPAX, Mini Compactor for Road Construction Industry. MCE additionally showcased its advanced CEV-V Range of machines, that are set to redefine the standards in their respective categories, offering advanced features, more comfort, higher productivity and performance delivering higher earnings to its customers.

The New Mahindra COMPAX Mini Compactor features the same reliable Mahindra Engine which is widely used by many other players in the industry in this category – the 2.0L, 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine delivering 25 hp and 125 Nm torque, offering best-in-class fuel efficiency and dual-frequency vibration modes (55/65 Hz) for adaptable soil compaction. It is equipped with a robust 720 mm diameter drum and a durable single-piece oscillation shaft for long-lasting performance.

The Mahindra Construction Equipment business boasts of the popular Mahindra RoadMaster Motor Grader, designed to deliver higher power and performance at an affordable cost, to accelerate road construction projects, making it the market leader in its category with over 18% share; as well as the Mahindra EarthMaster Backhoe Loader, which delivers enhanced torque and several new features while being the most fuel efficient machine boosting productivity and earnings of the operators.

The range of MCE Machines enjoy strong support of the ever-growing, wide service and spares network comprising of over 136 touchpoints - 51 + 3S Dealerships and 16 Saathi+ Authorized Service Centers, 19+ Saathi+ Sales outlets & 50+ Spare parts outlets.

Talking of the MCE product range, it features a Backhoe Loader in the Earthmoving Segment, a Motor Grader and now the Mini-Compactor in the Road Building Machinery Segment. The CE product range has been engineered for Indian requirements with the philosophy of 'Made in India, Made for India' and is being manufactured at the new green field plant at Chakan, Pune. Cumulatively, MCE has already clocked over 16,000 machines, pan-India and is currently commanding no.1 position in the Motor Grader segment.

These machines come with a One-year, 2,000 hours warranty, eliminating the customer's anxiety when it comes to expensive repairs. MCE has rapidly expanded its after sales service and spares network to 136+ Touchpoints, including over 51 3S Dealerships, 16 Saathi+ Authorized service centers, 19 Saathi+ Sales Outlets and spares network of more than 50 retail outlets. The 50+ SPEV mobile service vans and mobile workshops further add to the reach and agility of the support network. Given the spiraling fuel prices, the Company believes that there was not a better time to introduce the first-of-its-kind disruptive and unique Customer Value Proposition "Assured Highest Productivity per Liter of Diesel" in standard mode for their CEV-V 74HP range of Backhoe Loaders - Mahindra EarthMaster SX and SXe series.

MCE has shown impressive and consistent export sales performance and boasts a reach across over 20+countries, as MCE has strategically expanded its network by adding new distributor partners in key regions such as the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa.
