Citroen India has become the latest brand to announce the price revision in the Indian market under GST 2.0. The French automaker is passing on the full benefits of the recent GST reduction to the consumers. The changes will come into effect from September 22, 2025, ahead of the upcoming festive season, which is considered to be a crucial time for the auto industry.

The updated GST framework, which streamlines taxes on passenger vehicles, has resulted in significant savings for customers. The Citroen C3 and C3X have seen price drops of up to Rs 84,000, with starting prices now at just Rs 4.80 lakh (ex-showroom).  Meanwhile, the Aircross SUV has received a reduction of up to Rs 50,000, available for both 5- and 7-seater variants.

Addressing the development, Kumar Priyesh, Director, Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said, "The reduction in GST on passenger vehicles is a welcome reform that will expand access to safe, modern, and efficient mobility across India. At Citroen, we remain committed to supporting this initiative by ensuring our customers enjoy the complete benefit of this reduction. By passing on the savings in full, we aim to make our vehicles more accessible across segments, while encouraging new buyers and accelerating adoption during the festive season."
