- Bajaj Auto launched a new Pulsar N160 variant at Rs 1.22 lakh ex-showroom

Bajaj Auto has updated the Pulsar N160 range by adding a new variant. This iteration of the motorcycle has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom). The update aims to refresh the range by adding more features. The brand calls it a combination of "sporty performance, confident braking, and premium styling."
The new variant of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 brings gold USD forks along with ABS technology, assist, and slipper clutch. The list also includes an LED projector headlamp, USB Type-C charging port, and a single-piece seat setup, which the brand claims will deliver "confident handling and everyday riding comfort."

Meanwhile, the rest of the motorcycle remains the same. It continues to get colour options like Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red, Grey, and Brooklyn Black. Additionally, the digital instrument cluster remains consistent. It continues to have a starting price of Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom) with single-channel, dual-channel, dual-channel USD, and dual-channel split-seat variants.

The fundamental mechanical specifications of the new Pulsar N160 model have not changed. It features a 164.82 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that generates 15.7 bhp of power and 14.65 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a five-speed transmission.
Equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, it comes with a single disc brake on both the front and rear, along with dual-channel ABS. The instrumentation includes a negative LCD display that provides all the important information. The top-end variant also offers Bluetooth connectivity and various ride modes. Additionally, there is a USB charger located on the tank.
With all of this, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 continues to compete against models like TVS Apache RTR 160, Suzuki Gizzer, Yamaha FZ, Hero Xtreme 160 4V, and others in the segment.
