Bajaj Auto has refreshed its Chetak electric scooter range for 2026, introducing a clearer 'C Series' naming and upgrades in the feature list. These changes aim to boost appeal in India's competitive EV two-wheeler market.
Revised Naming and Pricing
Bajaj has streamlined its Chetak electric scooter lineup with a uniform naming structure in this update. The range now falls under three distinct families: C25, C30, and C35 replacing the previous convention. Entry-level models lead with the C25 series, mid-tier options follow in the C30, and the premium C35 segment rounds out the offering. Specific variants are now identified by numerical suffixes, such as C2501, C3001, and C3501/02/03, based on their market positioning.
The lineup now splits into C25, C30, and C35 families, with variants like C2501, C3001, C3501/02/03. Prices of the electric scooter start at Rs 89,500 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), C2501 comes at Rs 99,500 for C3001, and up to Rs 1.34 lakh for C3501.

The C3501 motor output climbs to 4.8 kW from 4.5 kW, aiding quicker acceleration without altering claimed ranges, up to 153 km for C35, 127 km for C30, and 113 km for C25.
Key Feature Additions
Google Maps integration debuts on the C3501 via the Chetak app, offering real-time navigation over the old proprietary system. Riding modes (Eco, Sport) and hill hold assist become standard on C30 and C35, previously optional. C3501/02 gains OTA updates for remote enhancements, and C3001 cuts 0-80 per cent charge time to 2 hours 55 minutes from 3 hours 50 minutes with a better portable charger.
