Bajaj Auto has begun sales of the all-new Chetak C25 electric scooter across its Chetak showrooms in India. Announced on January 19, 2026, the model is priced at Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom). But with a limited-time early bird offer of Rs 4,299 off for the first 10,000 customers, the effective price of the electric scooter is now Rs 87,100. Deliveries and showroom rollout are now underway in key cities.
In terms of aesthetics, the electric scooter retains the charm of its predecessor with a neo-retro style. It features a horseshoe-shaped LED headlamp and a fairly straightforward apron with subtle contours, which enhance its minimalist design. The side panels maintain a similar look but now include updated graphics, while the rear is fitted with a new taillight.

With these features, it stands as the sole electric scooter in the Indian market that boasts a metallic body. It provides customers with 25 liters of storage space and a full-length seat measuring 650 mm. This is further enhanced by the availability of six color options: Racing Red, Misty Yellow, Ocean Teal, Active Black, Opalescent Silver, and Classic White.

The Chetak C25 is outfitted with a colored LCD screen. The electric two-wheeler comes with features such as smartphone connectivity, which allows users to receive calls and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and music control. Additionally, it includes Hill Hold Assist, enabling the scooter to ascend a 19 percent incline with two passengers.

The new Bajaj Chetak C25 features a floorboard-mounted 2.5 kWh battery pack that powers a 2.2 kW electric motor, providing a range of 113 kilometers on a single charge. When the battery is depleted, it can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 2 hours and 25 minutes.
The scooter comes with a 750W off-board charger, which is claimed to fully recharge it from 0 to 100 percent in under 4 hours. Under its exterior, the scooter is equipped with a hub-mounted motor, a telescopic front fork, and dual rear shock absorbers.
