Aprilia is planning to expand its offerings in the Indian market. Recently, the Aprilia SR 175 scooter has been spotted at a dealership, suggesting its official launch to be slotted soon. It is also expected that the SR 175 will replace the SR 160 currently on sale in the country. Here are all the specs and details one can expect from the upcoming Aprilia SR 175 scooter.
Aprilia SR 175: Powertrain Expected
The Aprilia SR 175 will be powered by a 174.7cc 3-valve, single-cylinder engine that is likely to develop a peak power and torque output of 12.92 hp at 7,200 rpm and 14.14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This gives it an edge over the Aprilia SR 160, which churns out 11.27 hp and 13.44 Nm.
Aprilia SR 175: Design And Hardware
The Aprilia SR 175's pictures from the dealership suggest that it seeks most of its design inspiration from the 160cc sibling. It carries forward the sleep and sport design from the SR 160 and also derives the color theme from the RS 457 and Tuono 457 motorcycles.

The brand has not yet specified any details about the underpinnings of the Aprilia SR 175. However, it is expected to carry the same suspension, tyres, frame, and other hardware components as its smaller sibling.

However, as for now, we know that the SR 175 gets a new TFT panel, probably the one offered with the Tuono 457 and RS 457. The TFT panel allows Bluetooth connectivity for navigation and other controls via the brand's official connectivity application.
