Alpine has unveiled the livery for its 2026 Formula 1 challenger, marking the start of a new era for the team. The launch event took place aboard a cruise ship off the Catalan coast near Barcelona, highlighting Alpine's partnership with MSC Cruises. Visually, the design remains faithful to recent years, blending the team's signature blue with BWT's pink, though the layout has been refined to complement the cleaner bodywork mandated by upcoming regulations.

Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto continue as the team's driver pairing, supported by a leadership group that includes Managing Director Steve Nielsen, who came onboard in September, alongside Executive Advisor Flavio Briatore. After a challenging 2025 campaign that ended with the squad at the bottom of the Constructors' table on just 22 points-trailing Kick Sauber by 48-the outfit is aiming for significant progress in the upcoming season.

Alpine opted to focus early on developing its 2026 challenger, ensuring readiness for the upcoming regulations and the major shift from Renault to Mercedes power units. This transition means Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto will have plenty to adapt to before the season opener. The most significant change lies beneath the bodywork, as Alpine ends its long-standing Renault engine era in favour of Mercedes power units and gearboxes. With the new rules prioritising electrical energy and efficiency, the switch offers Alpine a reliable foundation, allowing the team to channel efforts into refining car balance, tyre management, and overall race execution.

Alpine's new car has already undergone a shakedown at Silverstone, completing initial system checks. Following a difficult previous season, this reveal signals a fresh start, with Alpine determined to make the new package competitive and build momentum right from the opening race weekend.
