Skoda has unveiled the updated Kushaq facelift in India, introducing a range of significant design and feature upgrades both inside and out. While pricing details remain undisclosed, the refreshed SUV is scheduled to hit the market in March. The facelift brings several enhancements over the current version, marking a step forward in styling, comfort, and technology.
Front
The Skoda Kushaq facelift introduces several striking updates to its front profile. It now features a broader grille with chrome-lined slats, sleeker surrounds, and a new light strip inspired by the Kodiaq. The LED headlights have been redesigned with eyebrow-style DRLs, replacing the earlier L-shaped signature. Fog lamps are more compact and positioned lower, while the refreshed bumper sports a larger air dam and a ridged skid plate, giving the SUV a bolder, more dynamic look.
Rear
The most striking update on the Skoda Kushaq facelift is at the rear. The SUV now features connected LED tail-lamps, replacing the split design of the outgoing model, giving it a broader and more modern stance. Complementing this are familiar elements like the roof-mounted spoiler and shark-fin antenna, which continue to enhance the sporty appeal. The conventional tail-lamp setup has been swapped for a sleek LED light bar that integrates illuminated 'SKODA' branding along with sequential indicators, adding a premium touch. Meanwhile, the reflectors have been repositioned into the rear bumper, which itself has been reworked with extra cladding and a rigid skid plate, echoing the refreshed front fascia for a more cohesive design.
Interior
Inside, the Kushaq facelift retains its familiar layered dashboard design, with updates focused on fresh upholstery and a new black-and-beige colour scheme. Skoda also claims an increased boot capacity of 491 litres-106 litres more than the outgoing model. However, since the luggage bay's shape remains largely unchanged, this figure likely reflects measurements taken up to the roof rather than just to the parcel tray.
New Colours
With the facelift, Skoda has expanded the Kushaq's colour palette by adding fresh Red, Grey, and Green options, while retaining the popular shades already offered on the earlier model.

Powertrain
The Kushaq facelift retains the familiar 115hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 150hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines from the outgoing model. However, the smaller engine's 6-speed torque converter automatic has now been replaced with a new 8-speed automatic transmission, offering smoother performance and improved efficiency.
