The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq has been unveiled in refreshed form, bringing a more comprehensive ADAS suite and a series of feature upgrades aimed at raising its position in the segment. The update focuses on enhanced safety, driver assistance, and connectivity, rather than an exterior redesign, keeping the seven-seater SUV's familiar silhouette, with minor changes in cabin tech and active safety offerings.
2026 Skoda Kodiaq: ADAS
The 2026 Kodiaq now comes with a more advanced ADAS package, including systems such as lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and blind spot monitoring across higher trims. Newer assistance functions like Turn Assist, Crossroad Assist and Exit Warning help prevent junction turn incidents and alert occupants when roadside traffic is approaching during door opening. The updated radar based sensors improve the reach and accuracy of lane change and follow distance alerts.

The SUV also retains a high-safety foundation, with up to nine airbags and systems such as ESC, multi-collision brake, hill-descent control, and adaptive headlights as part of its standard safety set-up.
It is important to mention that ADAS is available in the mid-range Kodiaq Sportline and the premium Selection L&K versions. Interestingly, the Kodiaq is the sole Skoda vehicle currently available in India that comes with ADAS features. This enhancement allows the Kodiaq to compete more effectively with its direct competitor, the Volkswagen Tayron, which similarly provides ADAS.

2026 Skoda Kodiaq: Interior, Tech
Inside, the 2026 model carries over the large touchscreen infotainment unit and digital instrument cluster, but refines the software with improved connectivity features and smoother smartphone integration via the latest interface
In addition to the enhanced driver assistance features, the 2026 Kodiaq Sportline model has been upgraded with a 360-degree camera and an LED strip integrated into the grille. These features were previously only available on the high-end Kodiaq Selection L&K trim. The entry-level Kodiaq Lounge 5-seater variant does not receive any modifications with this year's update.
2026 Skoda Kodiaq: Engine
The 2026 Kodiaq does not have any mechanical updates, maintaining its 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine across all models. It delivers a total power output of 204 hp and 320 Nm, which is transmitted to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
