Could Al-Qaida take over Pak nukes?
Islamabad:

Amidst growing fears about Pakistan's nuclear weapons in the currently disturbed situation, a new book suggests that Al-Qaida will soon take over the country's nuclear arsenal.

Senior Al-Qaida leader Abu Yahya al-Libi has released a book called Sharpening Blades Against Pakistan, which says its only a matter of time before they have control of Pakistan's weapons.

Libi adds that the mujahideen should prepare against US' plans to prevent the fall of Pakistan's nuclear warheads into US hands.

He also says mujahideen should gain control of copies of all the secret Pakistan-India agreements designed to prevent the targeting of nuclear facilities in any confrontation between the two countries.

Earlier, US President Barack Obama said that Pakistan's 'large' nuclear arsenal is a worry for India and the US especially at a time when terror outfits like Al-Qaida and Taliban are trying to get such weapons.

The President's comments coincided with the release of the latest satellite photos which revealed that Pakistan is multiplying its nuclear arsenal much beyond its present stable of 60 to 100 weapons and increasing their destructive power and deliverability system.
