Ever since the pug became the oh-so-cute brand ambassador of a popular telecom commercial, the demand for them has been soaring and so has the price. Rajesh Singh, a dog trainer said, "The rates have increased drastically because of the Hutch ad. This pug was bought for Rs 17,000, but now the breed costs Rs 35,000."
