J&K receives heaviest snowfall in 3 years

The Indian Air Force is in the process of airlifting thousands of passengers stranded in Jammu and Kashmir, following the heaviest snowfall in the state in the last three years. The lifeline of the state, the Jammu-Srinigar highway has remained blocked for the last one week and as many as 4000 people are stranded in Jammu.
