Former DGP of Punjab S S Virk has been arrested in Delhi by a Punjab Police team.The arrest comes in connection with a disproportionate assets case against him.Virk was arrested from Maharashtra Sadan. Just before the Punjab assembly elections earlier this year, the Election Commission had ordered Virk's transfer after complaints from the Akali Dal, which was then in the Opposition.
