The mysterious death of a 50-year-old Dalit man has led to tension in the Erode district of Tamil Nadu. Chinnasamy was found dead in a well near Perundurai town on Saturday. He had gone as part of a committee to talk to members of another group after a Dalit youth was allegedly attacked during a temple festival.
