The petition for premature release of Nalini, a member of the squad that assassinated Rajiv Gandhi has been adjourned till June 18. Tamil Nadu government and Centre seek two weeks time to file their counter affidavit. Dr Subramanium Swamy's intervening petition opposing her release came up at the Madras High Court during the hearing.
