A town in flood-hit Madhepura district of Bihar has turned into the ghost town. Once bustling with over 50,000 people, what now remains here is an eerie silence as over 80 per cent people have fled. Shops, schools, colleges and offices are shut. And Neelam Devi was among those who stayed back. A daily wager at the collectorate, her hut is submerged in waist-deep water.
