A political tug-of-war has started in Banda over who has the right to get justice for the minor girl who was allegedly raped by BSP MLA Purushottam Dwivedi. The Samajwadi Party (SP) tried to take away with the girl saying they will take her to some place safer. The BJP then joined the fray when party leader Smriti Irani tried to take the girl with her but the police stopped her.
