India is one of the few countries that legally recognises transgender as the Third Gender. The landmark judgement, passed in April, 2014, was welcomed by all liberal corners of the nation. On the occasion of Transgender Awareness Week, the Godrej India Culture Lab hosted the 'Dancing Queens', Mumbai's premiere professional transgender-led dance contingent.
