The markets continued to slide for the third consecutive day with the benchmark index slipping 404 points to close at 12,995 levels. The Sensex moved in a broad range of 12,801 – 13,492 levels in the intra-day trade. In the broader markets, the Nifty shed 3.4 per cent or 132 points to end the day at 3716 levels.
