Aditi Nayar, senior economist at ICRA, says that despite risks rising out of sub-par monsoon and rise in crude oil prices, CPI inflation would average by 5.5 per cent in this calendar year. Given this moderation in CPI, there is room for another 50 basis points of rate cut, she adds.
