In a renewed bid to resolve the Singur crisis, the West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee on Monday invited Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee for talks, six days ahead of her party's plan to lay siege to the Tata Motors' small car plant. In his letter to Banerjee, Bhattacharjee stressed the importance of the project in the state.
