Any crime needs to be punished and that too in time. Justice delayed is justice denied. So why does this logic fail us when when it comes to our politicians? Is it because they are powerful or is it because we don't have the infrastructure or is it the will that we are lacking? While on one hand people wait with bated breath to see perpetrators brought to book, those, against whom false charges are pressed, wait to get their clear their names. How can we expedite the judicial process? Is setting up fast-track courts the answer or an increase in the number of judges will clear out the backlog of cases?
