From Roja To Priyanga, Women Politicians Face Hostility Despite New Reservation Law
At a time when the Parliament has passed the women's reservation bill, two women ministers - one each from Andhra Pradesh and Pondicherry - have complained about serious gender discrimination, hostility and a mindset of medieval patriarchy in the last 10 days and one of them has even resigned. This happened in the south of the country, largely considered more progressive and gender-friendly. NDTV's Uma Sudhir reports.
