India's Model Cities For Successful Waste Management

Waste management is a huge challenge as well as a crisis for our country. Some cities have managed to put in successful waste management systems. The government evolved a new set of waste management rules that mark a significant shift. A survey by Centre for Science and environment has rated cities like Alleppey in Kerela, Panaji, Mysuru, Aizawl, Pune, Suryapet in Telangana and Surat as those that have made a significant leap forward and could become models for the country. In this special episode of the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swacch India campaign we'll bring you in-depth reports on few of these cities who have transformed their waste into resources.
