No option but to halt mining activity: Justice Shah

The Goa government has put a temoprary halt on mining activity in the state based on the recommendations of the Shah commission. Speaking exclusively to NDTV Profit, Justice M B Shah, Chairman Justice M B Shah Commission of Enquiry for Illegal Mining of Iron Ore & Manganese says that there is no option but to halt mining activity temporarily. He added that companies and individuals found guilty of illegal activity should be punished severly.
