Jr. NTR is back with a bang opposite starlet Tamanna in director Surender Reddy's Oosaravelli.

The story begins with a flashback. Goons kill the brother of a young girl, Niharika, (played by Tamanna). Niharika is also injured in the attack and a bullet is lodged in her brain. Slipping into a coma, Niharika comes out of it after five months. But the bullet cannot be removed from her brain as it may endanger her life but if the bullet stays inside, she can lose her memory.

Niharika now approaches Tony played by the flamboyant Jr. NTR and requests him to eliminate the goons who have killed her brother.

But the scene quickly shifts to the present where Tony again meets Niharika when they are kidnapped by terrorists. Tony realises that Niharika has lost her memory and doesn't remember anything about her past. So Tony takes the responsibility of protecting Niharika and eliminating the goons, including the don, Prakash Raj.

Jr.NTR is appealing as Tony but his character is confusing.

As usual, Jr. NTR is stellar in the dance and action sequences.

But the trademark Jr. NTR style is missing and that will disappoint his fans.

Tamanna has a lengthy role and she does complete justice to it.

Prakash Raj plays the big don and his role is brief and lacks the punch. Jayaprakash Reddy, Raghu Babu and MS Narayana are seen in yet another routine comedy act.

With Oosaravelli director Surender Reddy has tried something new and different. NTR brings in positive energy. There are good twists in the movie.

The music by Devi Sri Prasad is good and NTR's deft footwork keeps the tempo going.

Oosaravelli promises big but falls short of expectations. If you are Jr. NTR fan, then it is a must-watch otherwise the film is an average entertainer.
