NDTV Exit Poll: Massive Reverses for Congress in Haryana
NDTV's Exit Poll shows that the Congress is expected to suffer massive reverses in Haryana, which it has ruled since 2005. The party is projected to win only two out of the state's 10 seats, seven less than what it won in the 2009 national election. (Full Coverage: NDTV Exit Polls)

In this state, the BJP and its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi repeatedly targeted Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who has been accused of bagging sweetheart land deals with help from the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government. The BJP dubbed it the "Damad (son-in-law) Shri scam" and even took out a CD and booklet on the allegations.

The BJP and its ally, Kuldeep Bishnoi's Haryana Janhit Congress, is expected to corner 7 seats, riding on the perceived Modi wave. In the last election five years ago, the BJP had drawn a blank in the state, while Mr Bishnoi could only win one.

Former chief minister Om Prakash Chautala's Indian National Lok Dal, or the INLD, is predicted to win a solitary seat. Mr Chautala and his older son Ajay are currently in jail in connection with a corruption case.
