Days ahead of the world's largest electoral exercise, what better way to track the pulse of the Indian voter than a train journey on the world's largest rail network? NDTV's Marya Shakil boarded the Kerala Express from New Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram. Covering 3,000 km across eight states taking nearly 50 hours, she chatted with her co-travellers about the journey of India's democracy and what elections mean to them. Meet Sherin Kumar a mechanical engineer working in Kuwait and his wife Priyanka Chandrabose, an assistant professor of pharmacy at the local College in Alappuzha as they return home after holidaying in Kashmir.
