World Organ Donation Week Celebrated In Various Cities Across India

India sees one of the highest numbers of road accidents in the world, yet, each year 5 lakh people die of end-stage organ failure, waiting in hospital queues for a donation to come through. As a part of NDTV Fortis More to Give campaign, multi-city ground events were organised to raise awareness and sensitise people abouto rgan donation. The activities were organised in seven cities across the country - Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Jaipur and Chandigarh. To take the pledge to donate organs, click here.
