Political speculation is mounting in Maharashtra over a possible realignment involving the Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP) after a series of high-profile meetings with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

However, NCP-SP MP Supriya Sule has firmly denied reports of any merger or alliance with the NDA, stating that "we will never join hands with the NDA."

The speculation gained momentum after NCP leaders Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare, along with NCP-SP leader Jayant Patil, held separate meetings with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his official residence.
