The new national education policy, intended to introduce educational reforms in the country, has snowballed into a massive political controversy. The proposed reform that talks about introducing a three-language system in education, has kicked up a storm in Tamil Nadu, with civil society activists, Twitter users and politicians viewing this as imposition of Hindi. The DMK, DMDK, Vaiko's party and even the ruling AIADMK is upset with the draft. The big question is, how would the BJP get affected by the controversy in the southern state.
