Why Famine Hasn't Been Officially Declared In Gaza Despite Deepening Hunger Crisis

Despite months of UN and aid agency warnings, no official famine has been declared in Gaza. The UN and World Food Programme (WFP) say nearly all of Gaza's 2 million people depend on aid, with Israel's blockade and military action crippling food supplies. Around 100,000 women and children face severe malnutrition, and a third of the population are going days without food.
