Vikrant Bhise was honoured as Emerging Artist of the Year for his powerful and poetic engagement with themes of caste, labour, identity and justice. In 2025, Bhise gained international recognition with We Who Could Not Drink at the Berlin Biennale, along with major presentations at the Armory Show, New York, and the 36th São Paulo Biennale.
