“Vaccine Policy Flip Flop Cost Us 2 Lakh Lives": Bengal Finance Minister

"The Indian government and PM have woken up. Since January 16 there has been a continuous flip flop which is worrisome. May 1 came liberalisation which is 18+, they pushed 25% to states, they'll buy on their own, 25% was pushed to private. Now the PM brought 75% by the government and 25% to private. In other countries, government takes 100% control. Why isn't the Indian government taking 100% control," asks Bengal Finance Minister Dr Amit Mitra.
