Dr Peter Chin-Hong, Infectious Disease expert said, "cases are stabilising but at a very high level; haven't come down the mountain yet". He said, "from the beginning of the US vaccination programme, there's been carrot and stick but how the carrot is not working for the vast unvaccinated masses and a national strategy is needed".
