US Iran Tensions | US Navy Releases Footage Aboard USS Abraham Lincoln The U.S. Navy has released footage from on board the USS Abraham Lincoln as tension between Washington and Tehran remains high. The footage, filmed in the Arabian Sea late January, shows fighter jets taking off and the aircraft carrier taking on supplies. Iran's president said Tuesday he instructed the country’s foreign minister to “pursue fair and equitable negotiations” with the United States, the first clear sign from Tehran it wants to try to negotiate. The announcement came hours after a U.S. navy fighter jet shot down an Iranian drone that approached the aircraft carrier.
