India has welcomed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) reached between the United States and Iran, with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval expressing cautious optimism about its potential impact. Doval said the development could strengthen energy security, ensure smoother navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, reduce supply chain disruptions, and ease shortages of fertilizers and chemicals.
