US federal authorities have foiled a suspected New Year's Eve terror plot in Southern California, arresting four suspects accused of planning coordinated bomb attacks in Los Angeles. The FBI said the threat was credible and imminent. According to FBI Director Kash Patel, the accused were linked to a radical offshoot of the Turtle Island Liberation Front, described as pro-Palestinian, anti-government and anti-law-enforcement, with alleged plans to target ICE agents.
