In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Iran's Ambassador to India Mohammad Fathali blamed the collapse of talks with the United States on what he called "unlawful demands," alleging Washington entered negotiations seeking submission rather than compromise. The envoy said Iran would continue talks only if its rights are recognised, warned that a U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz would violate international law and global norms, and confirmed that Iran will keep the strait open for friendly countries, including India.
