Truth Of US 'War' On Terror: Is US Throwing India A Bone?
Nearly three months after the Pahalgam terror attack, which NDTV's Shiv Aroor covered from the ground in Jammu and Kashmir, the US under President Donald Trump has just designated the Pakistan-sponsored terrorist group responsible – The Resistance Front, or TRF – as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. For those unfamiliar, the TRF is a front outfit of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, Pakistan's oldest and most blood-soaked export. On paper, this is a big diplomatic win for India. FTO designation by the US State Department is no small deal.
