The United States and Venezuela confirmed they are exploring the restoration of diplomatic relations as a U.S. delegation visited Caracas to assess reopening the American embassy. Interim President Delcy RodrÃguez said both countries may reopen embassies in Caracas and Washington and confirmed Venezuela will send its own delegation to the U.S. The talks come after diplomatic ties were severed in 2019 and amid renewed U.S. pressure linked to political and energy interests.
