Every year, in a small village called Momasar in Rajasthan, a festival with a difference is held. The festival is dedicated entirely to the rich folk heritage of Rajasthan. It brings together folk musicians who have learnt their art over generations. Some of them are from the Langa and Manganiar community, who are traditional musicians. But many are ordinary farmers, shepherds and even local village ironsmiths.
