Thailand's Foreign Minister Rejects Trump's Comments On Ongoing Conflict With Cambodia

Thailand's Foreign Minister on Saturday rejected U.S. President Trump's recent comments on the ongoing Thailand-Cambodia conflict, questioning whether the source of Trump's information "deliberately distorted" facts. Speaking to reporters in Bangkok, Thailand's Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow said that the government was "concerned" about a recent Trump post on Truth Social. Trump on Friday, after speaking to Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, had announced an agreement to restart the ceasefire. He also said that a roadside bomb that killed Thai soldiers was "an accident" and that Thailand reacted "very strongly". Sihasak countered both these claims.
