On Day 97 of protests in Sri Lanka, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa finally sent his resignation to the Speaker today from Singapore, where he has fled to. Protesters, who had been demanding he quit, were seen celebrating on the roads with firecrackers. "We know this is people's victory. People have shed their blood.
