Soldier's widow helps families of martyrs
As the nation marks the 62nd year of India's Independence, the widow of an Ashoka Chakra awardee, Subhashini Vasanth works tirelessly to ensure education for the martyrs children. Subhashini's husband, Col Vasanth Venugopal had been killed in the battlefield of Uri in Jammu and Kashmir and she now keeps the soldier's memory alive with her work.
