Mumbai spent 1597 crore on Storm Water Drains between June 2018 and June 2019. The top 20 vendors account for 60 per cent of the state works department spending which is 938 crores while another single vendor ran a bill of 117 crore. As we keep going through the statistics year after year, the situation remains the same as Mumbai submerges. This is the Maximum City's annual apathy with the weatherman predicting a flood-like situation if heavy rain persists.
