After a day of heavy rain in Mumbai, the administration expects the rain may stop by tomorrow or slow down tomorrow and the high tide too will end and thus the water will start receding. But while we debate and discuss the issues of apathy, whether this was a man-made disaster or an act of god, whether this is civic apathy or climate change, well isn't the truth somewhere in the middle? It could be both. Mumbai is receiving a month of rain in just four days. So, if this is climate change, then how do we deal with this? Surely we cannot let a whole city sink due to freak weather.
